About the Park Entrance Sign
The park entrance sign is the first thing visitors see and the last thing they pass on the way out. It's an area identification sign (the Bureau of Reclamation's Design Type A-1): the park name as the primary message, its designation — State Park, County Park, Recreation Area — as a secondary line two-thirds the size, and an optional welcome or farewell message. Pick the classic recreation trapezoid, an arched top or a plain rectangle, and switch the message to Now Leaving / Thank You for Visiting for the exit side of the same post.
